Then the NYS Blog popped up and now we understand what and why you are paddling, etc. Sorry to hear of the delay until next season, but biking the canal is an enjoyable time anyway and your Dad & Mom will/would have approved! I'm an Adirondack Guide boat rower and can relate to your sport. Now I must look up an explanation of how 'ya make your boat go'.
